Tinker London

We ran a small studio that built connected product prototypes and experiences for research departments and creative agencies between 2007-2010. It was also the first distributor of the Arduino in the UK. Two of our projects, The Big Red Button and Homesense are now part of the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art and were featured in the 2011 Talk to Me exhibition. Check out the archive.

Commissioned in 2010 by Russell Davies, The Big Red Button was an industrial emergency button was modified to simply advance a slide on Powerpoint. A small quantity was manufactured and  sold amongst others to David Copperfield’s team.
